I see life is a journey of discovery. Every person we meet, every culture we encounter, every scientific breakthrough, every act of love, loss, resilience, or wonder offers another opportunity to better understand ourselves and the world we share.
We now live in an era of extraordinary transformation. Science, technology, and culture are reshaping how we build families, form relationships, communicate, and imagine our future. Yet beneath every breakthrough lie the same enduring questions:
Who are we?
What do we value?
What remains constant when everything else changes?
Those are the questions that draw me to every story I tell. It's no coincidence that my work is driven more by questions than answers. I come from a culture where storytelling, mythology, and philosophy have long been intertwined—where stories weren't simply entertainment, but a way of exploring the mysteries of human nature and our place in the world.
As the founder of The Toska Matrix, I create films and series that explore the intersection of human nature and a rapidly evolving world. I am drawn to stories where certainty gives way to curiosity, where deeply personal experiences illuminate universal questions, and where unexpected journeys invite us to see ourselves—and one another—with greater empathy.
Every project begins with curiosity. A question I can't stop thinking about. An aspect of the world I don't yet understand. A conversation that challenges what I thought I knew. I follow that curiosity wherever it leads—not because I'm searching for certainty, but because every unfamiliar world has something to teach us about ourselves.
Whether exploring New York's professional domination community in SWITCH, the future of A.R.T. in IVF: The Future of Human Reproduction, or the ethical and emotional implications of life beyond Earth in Sex, Space & Dinosaurs, I'm more interested in the people living these realities than in the spectacle. Every innovation, every cultural shift, every frontier eventually becomes a human story.
I don't make films about science.
I don't make films about technology.
I don't make films about history or the future.
I make films about people navigating those worlds simply because every innovation ultimately becomes a story about identity, love, fear, hope, power, family, belonging, and our enduring search for meaning and purpose.
I believe stories have the power to challenge assumptions, deepen empathy, and reveal the invisible threads that connect us. They remind us that while the world around us will continue to evolve, our search for meaning, connection, and understanding is what defines the human experience.
The world keeps evolving and as long as there are new questions to ask, there will be stories worth telling.
